FAQ
1. Who do you typically work with?
I work with growing families, professionals, business owners, engineers, and individuals navigating major life transitions like retirement, divorce, or the loss of a spouse. Many of my clients are looking for practical financial guidance that feels approachable, personal, and built around real life rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
2. What happens during the first meeting?
The first meeting is simply a conversation. We’ll talk about your goals, concerns, priorities, and the financial decisions you’re currently facing. It’s a chance for us to get to know each other, answer questions, and determine whether working together feels like the right fit.
3. What types of planning do you help with?
I help clients with retirement planning, investment management, college savings strategies, Roth and IRA planning, tax-sensitive investment strategies, education planning, and broader financial decision-making. My goal is to help clients see how all the moving pieces fit together.
4. Can you help with college planning?
Yes. I help families evaluate education savings options such as 529 plans and custodial accounts while balancing those goals alongside retirement planning and other financial priorities.
5. What is your investment philosophy?
I take a long-term, goal-focused approach to investing. Rather than chasing trends or relying on proprietary products, I focus on building diversified strategies aligned with each client’s goals, timeline, and comfort with risk.
6. Do you offer tax-sensitive investment strategies?
Yes. Tax awareness is an important part of financial planning. I help clients think through strategies like tax-loss harvesting, Roth conversions, and tax-efficient investing while coordinating with their CPA or tax professional when appropriate.
7. Will I work directly with you?
Yes. When clients work with my practice, they work directly with me. I believe relationships matter, and I stay personally involved in helping clients navigate important financial decisions over time.
8. How often will we meet?
That depends on your needs and preferences. Some clients prefer regular ongoing meetings, while others reach out during key life events or planning decisions. My goal is to be accessible and available when guidance is needed.
9. Do you only work with people in Pennsylvania?
No. While I’m based in Reading, Pennsylvania, I work with clients nationwide, including individuals and families in California, New Jersey, Delaware, Oklahoma, and Florida.
10. Why did you become a financial advisor?
I became a financial advisor because I saw how overwhelming financial decisions can become as life gets busier and responsibilities grow. I wanted to build the kind of practice I would have wanted for myself and my family: approachable, transparent, relationship-driven, and focused on helping people make confident decisions without unnecessary complexity.
11. How do you charge for your services?
Transparency is extremely important to me. During our initial conversations, I’ll clearly explain how I’m compensated, what services are included, and what makes the most sense based on your situation and goals.
12. What’s the best way to get started?
The easiest way to get started is simply reaching out for a conversation. There’s no pressure and no complicated process. We’ll talk through your goals, answer questions, and determine whether working together feels like the right fit.
